Meeting a korean friend in lomma

Image
I never expected that I would make a korean friend in Lomma. Lomma is such a small city near a coast. It is very peaceful and quiet city so I heard here is usually famous for old people to relax and enjoy their life.  Possible to run across some koreans in malmö or lund but not here!  But when I was buying some stuffs at Apotek in lomma square, a nice and friendly pharmacist recognized I was from Korea when she checked my passport and then told me one of her family members is also korean so she may be able to set her up with me.  What a coincidence! I mean it was not that pleasant reason why I visited drugstore but wow was lucky! But anyway so I met her few times and it is really amazing that I have someone to talk in Korean!!  We met at the fiskboden first. Nice restaurant.  Her husband is a big fan of Korea.. soju bottle collection was impressive And last evening they invited me for dinner and had Korean barbeque  ...

Probably I was too nervous So soothing to look over the river.. It has been 4 days since I arrived here.  It feels like all my life back in Korea has faded into grey.  Feels like starting totally a new life here. Completely new and fresh.  Yesterday I took a walk around lomma.  It was the first time in Sweden that I went out alone without my boyfriend! So exciting☺ The neighborhood is pretty calm and relaxing. I really like it! And I went to a local library. Its amazing that I can read books in front of the sea🐋 Korean letters!! !! New goal : To read and understand this People here ride bicycle everyday.  So I stole an abandoned bicycle last night hehe. Poor bike..  On the second day in Sweden we watched the movie parasite. I am so proud of this movie's achievement!  Director Bong always enjoys emphasizing the social problems like rich-poor gap. But this movie was not corny like other...
